SQOTD #3

In the SPH middle school program, each student is assigned a homeroom.  Though all students switch classes and teachers for different subjects, they travel as a group, the same students journeying with them every 50 minutes.  My homeroom is 7.2; they’re the best.  I see them every morning, and they will often stop in throughout the day.

At the end of the first day of school, I asked them how their day had gone, what was surprising, etc.  When I asked what was hard, they all groaned the same response: “Math!”

When I inquired further, one (awesome) student readily raised his hand, explaining in a very agitated state that, “Miss, there are no numbers in math anymore!”
