Fujisan

Mount Fuji is one of the most majestic things I have ever seen in my life.  It can be seen from Tokyo, about 60 miles away, on a clear day, and it one of those beauties that you simply cannot stop looking at.  We all took a trip this active volcano on Tuesday, and I simply fell in love with it!

We took a funicular up a nearby mountain for a better view of Fujisan, then picnicked at the base for a best-backdrop-ever award winning lunch.

After our picnic, we went to a traditional Japanese village with an incredible view of the mountains.  We were able to see much of the traditional craft, homes, and even try on kimonos!
